Hello, I am Keesha Parker, the President and founder of S.O.U. I am 33 years old and was born on September 1st. I grew up in Arlington, VA and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1991. I served in the military from 1993-1996.
I currently work full time at the United States Postal Service and attend PG Community College part-time pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science.
One of the reasons I started S.O.U. was because I enjoy reading novels by and about African-Americans. It also gives me an opportunity to meet positive black women who share the same passion. Meeting and bonding with my sisters once a month we forge a lasting friendship.I enjoy our monthly discussions to get their objective opinions about the book. My hobbies include: Reading, movies, bowling, and traveling with my family and friends.
