  1. Each member is required to read the book and participate in group discussion. Group participation is a must in order to make the book club a success.
  2. A fine will be imposed for any member who does one of the following:
  3. A fine of $5.00 will be imposed if you miss a meeting without giving at least a 1 hour notice.
  4. A fine of $5.00 will be imposed for any member who is more than 30 minutes late to a meeting.
  5. A fine of $5.00 will be imposed for any member who did not read the book for the month.
  6. We all have lives away from the club that may cause us to need time away from the book club and its obligations. We understand, and we will support our members through those times.

Conditions:
  • Members should be genuinely interested in joining the book club and not just attend a meeting occasionally.
  • Members should read the book of the month, attend the meeting, and participate in the discussion of the book.
  • Members are expected to host a meeting at least once a year.
  • Monthly dues are $10, with the exception of June and November when the dues are $25 a month and are expected to be paid at each meeting; dues cover expenses, special events and donation to charities.
